Age 81, of Sharpsburg, on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Loving husband of Betty Lou (Carricato); beloved father of Daniel J. Sweazen, Michael A. Sweazen (Janie), Linda Hyatt (Keith), and John R. Sweazen (Susan); grandfather of Tony Sweazen, Ryan, Jordan, Collin, and Nathan Hyatt, Katie and Nicholas Sweazen; brother of Catherine E. Buchan. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. Friends received THURSDAY 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., corner of Main and 9th Sts., Sharpsburg. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at St. Juan Diego Parish, Sharpsburg, in Madonna of Jerusalem Church, corner of 9th and Clay Sts., Friday 10 a.m. Private interment in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
