GLOWARK EDWARD T.
On Sat., May 12, 2012 of Pittsburgh, age 94. Beloved husband of the late Mary Bodnar Glowark; dear father of Mary Jo (William) Smith and Richard (Patricia) Glowark; loving grandfather of Daniel (Rose Annette) Arnold, and Kimberly and Erik Glowark; great- grandfather of Joseph and Anthony Arnold; survived by many nieces and nephews. Edward worked at Allis Chalmers for many years. He served in WWII as a Tech 4 in the US Army in Casablanca in Morocco, and received the WWII Victory and Good Conduct medal. Family and friends will be received at VLADIMIR S. CORBA FUNERAL HOME, 300 E. Main St., in Carnegie, on Tues. from 2–4 and 6–8 p.m., with a parastas at 7:30 p.m. Funeral on Wed. at 12:30 at Holy Trinity Ukr. Catholic Church on Washington Ave., in Carnegie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Ukr. Catholic Church, 730 Washington Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106.

Dear Danny, I'll always remember your grandparents fondly. They were our first neighbors when we got married. Mary always sent a batch of her wonderful cookies at Christmas. We had a little cat, Kismet, who loved to visit with Ed in the garage and watch him fiddle with things. I caught him talking to her once!

Ed was one of the few residents that I consider him like a grandfather. Everyday Ed made me smile and I loved him for his sense of humor and his caring heart. He wanted to help in every way he could. I'll never forget his positiveness of everyday and his courage to try to walk when he was weak. Ill never forget his hugs.
I'll always keep a special place in my heart for him.
