Peacefully, Saturday, July 28, 2012 of Swissvale. Wife of the late Salvatore J. Campasano; loving mother of Mark J. Campasano and his wife Terry of Allison Park; dear grandmother of Cory; sister of William Ziccardi and the late Edward Ziccardi. Esther is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 MONDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial at Madonna del Castello Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The Nied Funeral Home is a proud member of the Good Grief Center.

Dear Mark and family,
I only learned of your mom's passing; otherwise, I would have attended her funeral and paid my respect. Everytime your mom made cannolis at the church she would remember that my mother Mary taught her how to make them. And so a bit of my mom passes with your mom. I have missed seeing her the past couple of years. She remains in my prayers. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You were her pride and joy.
