GEORGE DANSCAK Obituary
Of Munhall, peacefully on November 22, 2018, age 96. Son of the late George and Anna (Danko) Danscak; beloved husband of the late Julia Danscak (Sheptak); father of Donna (Gary) Kuhl and Anita (Donald) McLaughlin; brother of Raymond Bodnar and the late Irene Celovsky, Michael Danscak and John Danscak; grandfather of Amy (Michael) Porter and the late Corey (wife, Emily, survives) McLaughlin; great-grandfather of Justin and Adam Porter and Andrew and Anna McLaughlin; also survived by his longtime companion, Josephine Moxin. George was a veteran of the Coast Guard serving during WWII, a retired railroad engineer for U.S. Steel and was an active member for many years at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cathedral in Munhall. George's family would like to thank the staff of Allegheny Health Home Care for the special care they provided and requests that in lieu of memorial contributions, please create a small kindness for someone in his honor. Services and interment are private. Arrangements entrusted to SAVOLSKIS - WASIK - GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., Munhall.
