GEORGE STAMBROSKY Obituary
On Wed., March 23, 2011, of Nevillewood. Beloved husband of Inez (Sgarrella) Stambrosky; father of Patricia (Steve) Maloney, Richard (Joan) Stambrosky and Maria (Leo) Beck; brother of Pauline Fuchs, Edward Stambrosky and Kathryn Guenther; grandfather of Patricia, Beth, Danielle, Jonathan and Jennifer; also a proud great-grandfather of Claire and Dylan. After serving in the Navy, he became a carpenter contractor, then to a housing contractor. In 1971, he joined forces with his son, Rick, and became a land developer and housing contractor. In 1989, he was one of the founding developers of Nevillewood. Friends welcome Thurs. 6-8 p.m. and Fri. 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SVC., 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Funeral Mass in St. Barbara Church on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation: MGAWPA.org or The Salvation Army P.O. Box 742 Carnegie, PA 15106.
