MARILYN REICHBAUM Obituary
Age 88, on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, dedicated and loving wife of the late Jack Reichbaum passed away with children and grandchildren that she so adored at her side. Even in her last moments of life, she gave gentle kisses to those at her bedside. Marilyn was raised in Pittsburgh where she had many wonderful lifelong friends. A move to Florida with Jack led them to add yet another group of very special people to their lives. Marilyn is survived by her children, Lee and Barbara Reichbaum, Carol Reichbaum, Arnie and Debbie Reichbaum; grandchildren, Eric, Jared, David, Galen, Sara and Matt; sister of Doris (Dolly) Voloshen and the late Charles (Sonny) Freedman. She was so looking forward to her first great-grandchild, who will soon continue her circle of life. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation at the D'ALESSANDRO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., Butler at 46th Sts., Lawrenceville Monday 10-11 a.m., followed by Graveside Service in Beth Shalom Cemetery. The family is forever grateful to the staff of Harmar Village, and asks that memorial contributions be sent to Harmar Village Activities Fund, 715 Freeport Rd., Cheswick, PA 15024, to add to the quality of lives of Marilyn's friends and the caring community that resides there.

I got to know your mom when I was visiting Mrs. Lang. The last time I saw her she said, "no one takes marriage seriously anymore and they should". I was helping her with her dinner and told her I agreed with her. She was a sweet and gentle woman. I am sending my sympathy and I hope her family finds comfort knowing she is at peace.

Lee, Arnie and Carol,
I am sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Whenever one of our parent's group dies, memories of the great times in Stanton Heights come back. One such memory is watching fireworks on the Reichbaum/Hyde front porch every Fourth of July.
