Strangely, about a week before I heard of Mark's passing, I thought about him all one day, and was wondering what he might be doing in life. Having not seen him in many years, I never got a chance to act on my notion, and I was deeply saddened by hearing about his demise. Mark and I were with a mutual friend, Mark Dewald, the day he died in 1973, another sad day. May God rest his soul, and I'll hope to see him some day again in Heaven.
I am most grateful to Mike Prentiss, who let me know of his passing.

Mark was one of my closest friends throughout elementary school. We remained friends throughout middle school and high school and into our early twenties. Unfortunately, we haven't seen each other for years. A mutual friend (Cy Anderson) contacted me to say that Mark had passed away. Strangely (but not, I guess), I had had the strongest feeling about Mark on what must have been the day he passed away, wondering how he was and how I could contact him. The thought stayed with me all day and then the following morning I received news of his passing. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle soul. God bless him always, and may Peace be with his loved ones.

I remember Mark from my high school days as a witty and positive fellow. I haven't seem him since but have fond memories of a joyful boy with a positive outlook. I hope it remained so throughout his life. George Callahan was kind enough to notify me of his passing. My condolences to his wife, children and family.
