Dave, MaryAnn & Meg:
Please accept my condolences on the passing of another grand Oakland lady. Your mom was a very kind and caring person and I know you all shared a great love. Hope that her memories and endearing spirit of gentleness and caring will sustain you all. Sorry that I couldn't attend the services personally. Stay strong and be grateful for her positive influences in your lives. With deep sympathy,

We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Aunt Betty was such an inspirational lady to us. We were always so impressed with how active and full her life was. We will always remember her bright smile and the kind, accepting and authentic interest in others that she had. Thinking of you and your families.

My deepest sympathy to Betty's family. I worked with her when she volunteered at Children's Hospital. What a warm and giving person Betty was. She came every week helping many children through tough hospitalizations. She was a wonderful and thoughtful person. So many children benefitted from her compassion. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family. I have been blessed to have known her. She was an inspiration.

I have so many fond memories of Betty when I was growing up. She was a happy lady and so helpful to her friends and neighbors. I'll never forget her roast beef dinner; the best I ever ate. Betty lived an active life and she left behind a wonderful family. She will be sadly missed,
