Age 86, on Thursday, April 29, 2004, of Wilkinsburg, formerly of Venice, FL; beloved wife of the late J. William Bost and William M. Connolly; loving mother of Hon. Donna L. Cervini of Chicago, IL, JoAnne E. Halle of Pgh, Mary C. Silbaugh of FL, James P. Connolly of CA, Faith M. Katchmar of Forest Hills, Carol T. Ostrander of FL, Nancy A. Makela of FL and the late Marcia Connolly; dear grandmother of Cynthia E. Cervini, Christine C. Wong, Matthew W. and Joshua G. Heckel, Michael D. and Andrew R. Silbaugh, Nicole Connolly, Jennifer K. and Christopher D. Katchmar, Jason W. and Angela E. Ostrander, William G. and Marcia R. Makela; also great-grandmother of Cassidy, Zachary and Deanna Heckel. Friends received Sunday, 3-7, at the daughter's home. Memorial Mass in St. James Church, Wilkinsburg, Monday, 10am. Family requests memorial contributions may be made to Jane Holmes Residence, 441 Swissvale Ave., Pgh, PA 15221. Arrangements by THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC. 7441 Washington St., Swissvale.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to the family of Mary Ellen. For the short time I've known Mary Ellen it truly was a pleasure. She was a warm hearted lady, with a great sense of humor, very caring and full of compliments.The Angels above are singing since Mary Ellen joined them. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy. She was a wonderful lady and i loved her dearly. Always enjoyed her at the home. She will be missed.
