HOMONAI PAUL A.

Age 88, of North Versailles, died September 17, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born June 10, 1930, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Egley) Homonai and the husband of Thelma (Sabo) Homonai, for 68 years. Paul retired from the PA Department of Revenue, where he worked as an enforcement officer. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan. He served as a Township Commissioner of North Versailles for 16 years. Paul enjoyed dancing and bowling in his early years and was an avid golfer. Paul's true passion was his family and his work. In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his sons, Gary (Carol) of North Versailles, Dennis of Scottsdale, AZ and Richard (Deborah) of Crofton, MD; grandchildren, Dana (Donato) Bonacquisto, Mark (Karen), Tracey (Christopher) Collins, Matthew and Justin (Kelsey); great-grandchildren, Vianna, Tanner and Simon; daughter-in-law, Karen Homonai of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law, Irene Homonai of Connellsville; also nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by son, David; brother, John. Family and friends will be received at JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, on Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Church. Fr. Steven M. Palsa will be the celebrant. Condolences and memories may be shared at

sympathy to pauls family. paul was a customer at my golf shop and was a real nice guy. may he get alot of birdies at the great golf course in the sky
