PACOE PHYLLIS M.
79, of Hobe Sound, FL died peacefully on November 28th, 2009. Originally of Butler, PA, she was the wife of the late Howard Victor Pacoe, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Alberta Certo, of Cleveland, OH, and her five daugters: Victoria (Tom) Armstrong of Pittsburgh, Susan (George) DeSilva of Philadelphia, PA, Patricia Pacoe of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Debra Pacoe (Gene Stenger) of Pittsburgh, and Jean (Fred) Bowen-Smith of Hobe Sound, FL. Phyllis' grandchildren include Christopher (Natalie) Salisbury of Washington, DC, Andrew Apfelbaum of Philadelphia PA, Justin and Chad Bowen-Smith of Hobe Sound, FL, and the late Michael Van Sickle of Pittsburgh, PA ; and step grandchildren Evi and Gene Paul Stenger of Pittsburgh, PA. Services will be private and inurment will be in the Butler County Memorial Park, Butler, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of the FOREST HILLS FUNERAL HOMES YOUNG AND PRILL CHAPEL, Stuart, FL. For those who wish, contributions may be made to The Hospices of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart FL 34996 or at www.tchospices.org in Mrs. Pacoe's memory. So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. We were friends of both your mother and father, and I worked at Armco with Howard. We lost track of Phyllis when she moved to Florida. We now live in Florida and wish we could have kept in touch. Much sympathy, Richard and Tammee Murray
