THOMAS L.
Age 52, of Sewickley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016, after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. Born on February 25, 1964, in Pittsburgh, PA. Beloved husband for 16 years of Donna (Massucci) Hajdukiewicz; father of Matthew, and Justin Hajdukiewicz; son of Leo and Arleen Hajdukiewicz; brother of Paul (Don), John (Renee), Peter (Alyoska), Mary, Andrew (Laura) and the late James Hajdukiewicz. Thomas attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with a degree in finance. He enjoyed a successful career in the finance industry. His greatest joys were his wife and family. He was very involved in his boys' activities, coaching both their hockey and baseball teams. Thomas was a devout Catholic and was very involved in Right to Life organizations and practiced his faith every day. Family will welcome friends on Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, 200 Walnut Street, Sewickley, PA 15143, Rev. Thomas J. Burke, celebrant. Interment will follow in Sewickley Cemetery. Family suggests memorial donations in his name to the Neuro-Oncology Program, U.P.M.C Cancer Pavilion, 5150 Centre Ave., Room 561, Pittsburgh, PA 15232. Gd BLESS Tom, Donna and their entire family. Tom was a wonderful friend to me and many others and we were blessed by his presence in our lives. Until we meet again dear friend!

I am so sorry to hear this news. Tom was a good friend at Bowling Green. My best college memories included the time spent with Tom. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to reconnect for a short time with him in late summer. Although he was in the fight of his life, he was still the same guy I knew 30+ years ago.
My deepest sympathies to his wife, sons and family. The world is a lesser place without Tom but greater for having him with us. Rest in peace my old friend.

Thoughts and prayers for Tom's family and friends. I worked in the same building as Tom in Houston for several years. We (Tom, Gerard Pollard and Jim Homco) spent many nights out in discussions that only Tom could ever win. Those memories from the early 90's bring a smile to my face, as I'm sure it would to him also. RIP my friend.

So very sorry for your loss. I met Tom when he worked for Heartbeat International and then as he served on the Board. I was impressed with his compassion and generosity. He often shared his love for his family and his joy in his sons. He will be sadly missed. Robin Mitchell

I knew Tom for only 4 years through Heartbeat. His love of life and his family was a blessing to me every time I spoke to him.
