VERNON McKAVIC Obituary
Age 76, on Monday, March 12, 2018, of Bethel Park. Son of the late John and Savilla (Lutz); brother of Neal and Monty McKavic and Rita (the late William) Wakefield; uncle of William, Jr., Colleen, Kelly and John (Gina) Wakefield. Vern loved to travel, visiting 49 states, and enjoyed Blues music. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Valentine Church at 10:00 a.m. Please send condolences to:

He was such a great guy.
John worked with him while we were in Tampa. He was just telling me so of the fun things they had done. So sad. He will be missed. Brenda Phillips
