On Saturday, December 31, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Eilene Liepack; cherished father of Fonda (Albert) D'Alessandro and Leona Ann (Paul) Fritsch; brother of David (Anita) Liepack and the late Stanley and Louis Liepack; brother-in-law of Eileen and Marlene Liepack; grandfather of Armand D'Alessandro and Joshua, Freya and Martha Fritsch. Bill graduated from Fifth Avenue High School and then from the University of Pittsburgh with a Pharmaceutical Degree. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. When he returned, he met Eilene Strauchler and they married in June 1957. He was a Past President of the Allegheny County Pharmaceutical Association. In 2013, he received the "Pharmacist of the Year" award by the Pennsylvania Pharmaceutical Association. Friends may meet at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. and then proceed to Beth Shalom Cemetery for 1:30 p.m. Graveside Services. Contributions may be made to Shaare Torah Congregation, 2319 Murray Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.

To Dave, Fonda, Leona and families,
I was very saddened to know of Bill's passing. I am very sorry for your loss and mine. Bill was a pharmacist who was highly respected. I had many great,
enjoyable personal, social, and professional experiences with Bill.
Bill was a person who could engage and motivate people for a positive objective.
I will miss him and his friendship.
