WILLIAM GARVER Obituary
Age 27, of Penn Hills, after a courageous battle, on Thursday, March 14, 2013. Beloved son of William and Nancy Garver; loving brother of Matt and Olivia; Devoted fiancee of Hannah Hillman; grandson of Dr. Ken and Betty Lee Garver, Ann and the late Denny Studer; he is survived by 25 aunts and uncles; 42 cousins and many friends. Billy was a 2004 graduate of Central Catholic High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's in History and Philosophy of Science and Bachelors in History from the University of Pittsburgh. In his spare time, he loved gardening, cooking and spending time with family, friends and fiancee. A brilliant mind, Billy was always reading up on new topics and educating those around him. A kind hearted, funny and exceptional man, Billy will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of the West Penn Burn Unit for their loving care and support for Billy. Friends received, Sunday, 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD./ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Verona.
