MARY STECKO Obituary
MARY (RUDZINSKY)
Age 90, passed on Friday, April 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Peter Stecko; loving mother of Steven (Debbie) Stecko, Kathleen (Robert) Shields, Peter (Barbara) Stecko; adored grandmother of Diana Stecko, and Ryan and Kaitlin Shields; sister of the late Irene (David) Heldman, and nieces Irene, Donna and Meredith (Kirk) Heavner and son Alex. Mary graduated from Stowe H.S. in 1946 and went on to work for Bell Telephone. In 1951, she met and fell in love with her husband of 39 years, Peter. Their love encompassed "Forever and a Day". Mary was devoted to her husband and children. She was an avid baker and cake decorator. She loved working puzzles, reading mystery novels and caring for her children and grandchildren. We were truly blessed to have her as long as we did, Mary will be missed by many. Family and Friends welcome on SUNDAY from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., Coraopolis, PA 15108 (412- 771-4455), where a Blessing Service will be held MONDAY at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Our condolences and prayers for Kathy, Steven and Peter and the entire Stecko family. Mary was the epitome of a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. Her memory will live on through her family for ages to come. May she rest in peace.
