DR. JOSEPH I.
On Wednesday, April 28, 2004; age 92 of Oakland; beloved husband for 60 1/2 years of Mae Greenstein Greenberger; loving father of Patti Shensa and her husband Dr. David Shensa of Squirrel Hill; precious grandfather of Richard Aranson and his wife Nancy of Atlanta, GA and Jill Snyder and her husband Michael of Baltimore, MD; cherished great-grandfather of Lindsey and Danny Aranson and Eli, Brett and Adam Snyder; son of the late Samuel and Rose Greenberger; dear brother of Albert Greene of West Hills, CA and Geraldine Herwald of North Palm Beach, FL; also survived by two nieces and three nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 12 Noon until time of service at the BURTON L. HIRSCH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2704 Murray Avenue, Squirrel Hill (412-521-2600) where funeral service will be held Friday 1 PM in the Chapel. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tree of Life Congregation, 5898 Wilkins Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 or Forbes Hospice, 6655 Frankstown Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
