To Florence's family,

My wife, Pat, and I so enjoyed her company when she came to Puerto Rico and were happy to drive her to and from Temple Beth Shalom to attend services and events. We also have good memories of Lenny. They were both such intelligent and fun people and very true to their faith and they served as quite an inspiration to us. Disability was not an impediment to the enjoyment of life. Please accept our deepest condolences. RON ROSENBERG

Dear Rochelle and Jane

Even if we never met your mother it seems for me and my family that we have really knowned her, the only sister of my grandfather. You have discibed her as a warm and generous person, who really cared for all her family. Keep her in your heart with a really good memory.

Rochelle and Janet,

Your mother was such a special person in my life...She helped Annette and I stay a part of our very special family...She welcomed and nutured and cherished our place in the family...No one was ever left out or made to feel unwelcomed...She was always on my list of people to see when I came to Pgh. for a visit...It was always a pleasure...I will miss her, and I will think of her as the votes are counted November 2nd...Ed, Kate, and Sam will also miss her as well as Karen's new Sam...He really enjoyed meeting her...

Love, Sandy and Ed

Our deepest sympathy is shared with you. I (Marc) felt a special bond with her -- especially from those days/years following my parents' deaths. She was truly an unbelievably special woman. I am so happy that our sons (Ari and Sage) at least had the short opportunity to know her. They will remember her from the good times they shared when we visited Pittsburgh and from the many photos and stories they have heard and that get repeated about how wonderful she (and Uncle Lenny) were -- and how much they meant to me. And, Karen, has always remarked about that special bond she felt with her... seemingly more so than she was able to explain. While we were separated by the miles and regretfully never spoke as frequently on the phone as we thought about her, our love, admiration, and respect for her knew no bounds. I only wish there was some way that I could be in Pittsburgh to say goodbye, but will have to do so in our prayers. I do hope we can see you soon. Love to you all.

So sorry to see Aunt Florence go. She was always so supportive of us; just like Grandma Sally. I will miss her and am so thankful for having her in my life for so long.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
