JAMES A. "BULLDOG"
76 of Robinson Township passed away February 19, 2007. Survived by his mother: Bertha (Safreed) Stanford; wife of 55 years: Betty (Robertson) Stanford; son: James and his wife Debbie, Suwanne, Ga.; son Brian of Hollywood, Fl.; daughter Rhonda and husband Eric Nagy, Fl.; 7 grandchildren: Jesse, Ashley, Erin, Evan, Frankie, Veronica and Elana; brothers; Edward and wife Carol; Robert and wife Carla, Zelienople; sister-in-law; Rhoda Shingler, New Sewickley; and brother-in-law: Neil and wife Emily, Economy Boro. Preceded by father James; father and mother-in-law: Neil and Bertha Robertson; brother-in-law: Walter Shingler; niece Sandra Lynn Shingler. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from United Airlines after 35 years of service. James enjoyed bowling and hunting. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). 724-728-2456. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to one's local chapter of the American Cancer Society for Cancer Research.
