I just want to extend my condolences to Gary's family. I knew and worked with Gary in the Phoenixville Fire Department. Gary was a breath of fresh air at Friendship Fire Company. He served as their career Driver/Engineer and did so with a high level of professionalism. As a former Chief Officer I knew that when he was on duty the job would get done. Gary had the ability to think clearly and rationally under extreme circumstances. He always seemed to know exactly what needed to be done, making him an exceptional Firefighter.
It was an honor to know and work with Gary in such rewarding function, I know he felt that way too. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
