Liz has been close to my heart for almost 10 years now. She and Ed became extra special to me several years ago as they knelt at the alter in the sealing room of the Washington DC temple with my husband and I, and performed sealings for my ancestors. She was always the kind, considerate friend and confidante, always welcoming and loving. Always willing to laugh at a good joke, as well! I will miss her terribly, but will also look forward to the time when I may again embrace her and share a laugh over an ice cream sundae.

Liz was truly an amazing woman. I remember her singing "Be Thou an Example" in YW and it brought tears to my eyes. That is exactly what she was, an example. With her incredable strength, genuine love, patience, dedication as a mother and wife, and strong testimony keeps her candle burning the brightest! I am truly blessed for having known her.

In Young Women at VF, Elizabeth was the shining example of what we all could be. I'm a better person for having known her because she impressed me with the type of kindness and understanding that few can truly embody. My love to all the "Young Girls," President and Sister Young, and Elizabeth's family.

I love Liz. She was the supreme example of Christ-like love when we were serving together in the mission field. I am so grateful to have known her and to have been touched by her spirit. May you all find peace and comfort through the Plan of Salvation that I saw her teach so valiantly. Auf Wiedersehen meine Schwester. Ich habe dich lieb.
