Dorothy Russell Obituary
Wappingers Falls - Dorothy C. Russell, 79, of Wappingers Falls, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Wingate at Dutchess, Fishkill.
She was born in Mt. Vernon August 4, 1938, the daughter of Edward and Stephanie Getz Panek. On February 2, 1958, in Yonkers, she married Newell Russell who survives at home. Dorothy was an avid Yankee fan, and enjoyed flowers and traveling.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Debra Keindl and Steven , and their children, Kyle, and his wife Jessica, Steven, Dylan Keindl, Sharon Russell-Chase and Glenn, Carolyn O'Neal and Danny, and their children, Wesley and his wife Brianna, Alex and Bennie O'Neal, Kathy Macrillo and children, Karlina and Carter Macrillo, and their father Mark, Stephanie Wallaert and Thibaud, and their child, Sloane Wallaert, honorary daughter, Patrice Schiavo, Great grandchildren, Cora, Vincent Macrillo, and Conner Keindl, her brother, Rev. Robert Panek.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wingate in Fishkill for their excellent care and compassion.
Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday at 9:30 AM at St. Marys Church, 11 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls. Entombment Community Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
