Allan G. Russell

Allan Garfield Russell, 61 of Bayville, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at home. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica and has lived in New Jersey for the past 18 years. Allan graduated from Vere Technical High School, Clarendon, Jamaica. After immigrating to the US he worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for 11 years. In 2019 he received his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University. Upon his graduation, he worked as a Social Worker for more than 6 years at The Department - Child and Family, New Jersey. Allan was an Elder at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Jamaica for many years, and the New Bethel Church for approximately 10 years. He is survived by his loving children Judene Russell and Allan Russell Jr, 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, mother and father and in-law, cousins and a host of friends. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 7 to 9 PM at the New Bethel Church, Neptune. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2 PM at the Living Word Christian Fellowship, Neptune followed by a private interment.
