Michelle A. Russell

Michelle Antionette Russell, 60 of Bayville, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at home. She was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica and has lived in New Jersey for the past 18 years. Michelle graduated from Wolmer's Girls' School, Kingston, Jamaica. After graduating from high school she received a bachelor's degree from The University of Technology (CAST). Following her graduation from the University of Technology, she worked as a teacher, and then as Head of the Business Department at Wolmer's Girls' School for approx. 20 years. After immigrating to the US she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital. In 2016 she received her Master's Degree from Walden University. Michelle worked at numerous schools in New Jersey as an Occasional Teacher. Michelle was a Sunday School teacher and member of the choir at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Jamaica for many years. She was a dedicated member of New Bethel Church for approximately 10 years. She is survived by her loving children Judene Russell and Allan Russell Jr, parents Doreen Malcolm and Gerald Malcolm, 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 7 to 9 PM at the New Bethel Church, Neptune. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2 PM at the Living Word Christian Fellowship, Neptune followed by a private interment.
