Joyce Ford Obituary
Joyce Ann Ford crossed over to be with her Lord & Savior on February 14th while wintering in Casa Grande, AZ with her husband.
Joyce was born November 20, 1947 to Jerry and Dorothy Satinsky in Cedar Rapids, IA. She was educated in the Cedar Rapids school system where she graduated from Regis High School. Joyce went on to obtain an Associate's Degree from Kirkwood College with a double degree in Floral Design and Horticulture. She was a member of Iowa City Chapter 509 of The Women of the Moose, which she loved so dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck Ford; her son Lance (Andrea) Hanson of Cedar Rapids; a brother Jerry F. (Mary) Satinsky of Gurnee, IL; a sister Janet Bowling of Conyers GA; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her kind and generous love.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Jean Lewis and Mary Pat Satinsky.

Chuck & Lance, Jay & Janet, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joyce! It has been a long time since we have since Joyce and the family but we are still close in thought. This brings back memories of old times as cousins at Grandma O'Connors house for me.
It definitely shows how quickly life can change and that we need to enjoy every day!
