Lyle Ward Obituary
Willet - Reverend Lyle Russell Ward, 79 of Willet, stepped into glory on August 7, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, of almost 60 years, Burneeda (Maslin) Ward and eleven children. Christine (Paul) Widdall, Carlita (Scott) Heeman, Callise (Kurt) Hammond, Russell (Rosa) Ward, Nathanial (Bridget C.) Ward, David (Lisa T.) Ward, Bethany (Matthew) Cline, Carmine Ward, Thomas Ward, Trevette Ward, and Trent Ward. Pastor Russ was blessed with twenty-five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by three siblings Raymond (Sylvia) Ward, Brenda (Donald) Olson, and Joyce (Kevin) Wornell.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018, 11am at the First Baptist Church of Whitney Point, NY, 2938 US Hwy 11. Calling hours are Thursday, August 9, from 6pm-9pm and Friday, August 10, at 10am-11am AT THE CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Haven home of Thailand, Walk Ministries (Adoption/Foster Ministry), to FBCWP, 2938 US Hwy 11, Whitney Point, New York, 13862.
