Helen Walicke Obituary

Helen M. Walicke of Binghamton, NY entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2010. She is pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Josephine (Boettcher) Walicke, four brothers and wives, Walter (Gladys), Sigmond (Mary), Henry (Stephanie) and Joseph. She is survived by a sister in law Virginia (Jean) Walicke, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Asisi Church, Hillcrest, a member of the Alter-Rosary Society, and the Catholic Daughters Court Binghamton #237. After retiring from Singer-Link she enjoyed travelling, antiques and the arts. She thanks those special nephews and nieces who were a help to her in her time of need and the kindness of St. Francis of Asisi ministerial people.
A funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 10a.m. at St. Francis of Asisi Church, Hillcrest. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 9a.m. till the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to their favorite charity or St. Francis Asisi Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc.
