Jubinsky, Susan

56, of Endwell, passed away on December 23, 2015, at home with her family by her side after a valiant fight with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Stella Porupski. She was a loving wife and mother to her husband and sons Michael Jubinsky, Endwell; Christopher, Orlando, FL and Matthew, Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Robert Porupski, Thomas Porupski, Raymond Porupski, Timothy Porupski, Patricia Porupski, Katherine Porupski, and James Porupski; nieces and nephews Justin and Tracy Porupski, and Alicia Vincent. Susan worked for Singer Link, Lockheed Martin and lastly, Rockwell Collins as a subcontract project manager. She was an inspiration to family and friends, and an example to us of what love and courage is. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, at 10:00am, at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 53 Baxter St, Binghamton. Burial will be held at St. Tikhon's Monastery Cemetery Waymart, PA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4-7pm at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City. A Panihida Service will be held at 6:30pm at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Susan to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, www.cancercenter.com.

I was so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I worked with her at Lockheed for seven years and kept in touch after I retired. She was passionate about her family and her work at Lockheed. I will miss her.

I had the pleasure of working with Sue at Rockwell Collins. We became friends over the years and she shared her struggles with cancer with me. I worked with Susan on several projects at Link and and Lockheed Martin and on each occasion I was always pleased to have had the opportunity to do so. She was a joy to work with because of her positive attitude even when the work environment was prone to promote stress.
