She was a hardworking and generous wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Gloria, fondly called Abuelita by many, was best known for her incredible Puerto Rican cooking, which fed the bellies and the hearts of those who entered her home, always open to everyone. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday (today) at 2 pm from St. James Church, 155 Main Street, Johnson City. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings on the Hudson, NY at the convenience of the family.
