Paul H. Bender Sr.
Megan Elizabeth Bender, 24, went home on Aug. 3, 2005 in Newell, W.Va. Megan was born July 7, 1981 in Binghamton, N.Y. She is the daughter of Irene Bender, Binghamton, N.Y., and the late Paul H. Bender Sr. Aside from her mother, Megan is survived by her sister, Tammi and husband, Allen Meek, Endicott, N.Y.; two brothers, Michael Szwalla and wife, Amie, Vestal, N.Y., and James Sullivan, Endicott, N.Y. She is also survived by her four half sisters, Linda Bender, Binghamton, N.Y., Heidi Lee and Michelle Kemmerling, Conn., and Jodi Bender, London, England, as well as two half brothers, Frank Yatsinko, Suffern, N.Y., and Paul Bender Jr., Ocala, Fla. Megan is survived by her two nieces, Courtney Hull, Endicott, N.Y., and Ashley Szwalla, Vestal, N.Y.; and her great-nephew, Kaleb Alari, Endicott, N.Y.
Paul H. Bender Sr., 67, of Chester, W.Va., went home on Nov. 17, 2003. Paul was born Dec. 31, 1935. He was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Minni Bender; and one daughter, Janette Bender. He is survived by his wife, Irene Bender, Binghamton, N.Y.; one brother, Richard Bender, Conn.; as well as the same beloved family members as daughter, Megan.
Memorial services for both Megan and Paul will be held on June 17, 2006, at 9 a.m. at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Randolph Street, Great Bend, Pa. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Kirkwood, N.Y.
