Mike Fernald Obituary
of CharlotteErwin Michael Fernald, 57, formerly of Binghamton, died Monday, September 6, 2004, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Randall) Fernald, Charlotte, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Todd Lyons; and grandson, James Michael Lyons, Monroe, N.C.; five sisters, Kay Mallory, Ohio, Sally Trapp, Windsor, Dawn Whieldon, Johnson City, Joy Kubasta, California, and Mary Kaufman, Binghamton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was born on September 27, 1946 in Binghamton, to the late Stanley H. and Mary (Thurber) Fernald. Mike was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who was loved and will be deeply missed by all.
Services were held in North Carolina with Rev. Dan Lyons officiating.
