The family of Nicholas Kocur (Papa Huck) will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, on Monday from 4-7 with a brief memorial service at 7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CHOW in care of Ed Blaine, 3 Otsiningo Street, Binghamton, 13903.

Theresa, Paul, Kathy, I'm sad to hear of your loss. Nick was an awesome person, a good husband and a great dad. He had a terrific golf swing, one that I will never forget and one that Paul never could manage to learn! Nick will be missed. My prayers are with you and you family.

Teresa- you and Nick have always been so kind to my children- letting them play basketball in your backyard. Nick always gave us a friendly wave as we would venture on our walks...thank you for all your kindness and please accept Ed and I's deepest sympathy for your loss. My sincere sympathy to all of you. I often have thought of you all over the years. I use to see Nick when I would come home for a visit. Usually at Enjoie or at Roma's. The man always had a story. The entire McKercher family is so sorry about Nic's passing. He was one of a kind and will always be remembered with great respect, and fondness. Will never forget his dry humor and wit. Nic saying that he never worried about a thing that he could always " live on onion sandwiches", if things got bad like it did in the depression. Nic was such a fighter and self confident man. We will cherish his memory the rest of our lives. Mike, Fran, Marc and Paige.
