Richard Wheeland Obituary
Richard (Dick) E. Wheeland, born March 18, 1947, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Emerson and Anna (Wiland) Wheeland; daughter, Teresa (Wheeland) Slick and two sisters, Patricia and Donna. Dick is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia (Ergott) Wheeland; his children, Jimmy Wheeland (Mariya Tedeschi), Gina (Terry) Zacharias, Tammy Wyskowski (Pete Smith), Kimberly Rhea, and Brittany Rhea; grandchildren, Tara Slick (Justin Fox), Tia Slick (Josh Sember), Jimmy and TJ Zacharias, Tianna Wyskowski, Lilly and Lailyn Rhea; great grandson, Liam Zacharias; sister, Joyce (Gary) Brew; brother, Dan Wheeland; mother-in-law, MaryAnn Fuller; nieces and nephews; his best, good friend, Ronnie (Dottie) Wilkins and his angel's next door, Tim and Shelley Mones. Dick served in the United States Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in 1967. After the service, he went to work for Harris Foodlines/Great American for 20+ years. He was always a workaholic. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going fishing, golfing and watching the Yankees play ball. At Dick's request there will be no services. Expressions of sympathy in Dick's memory can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 900, Rochester, NY 14620
