William E. Russell
of Binghamton
William E. Russell, 90, died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold B. and Mamie Russell, and his brother, Edward Russell. Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Grace (Marguerite) Russell; his son and daughter-in-law, William E. and Susan Russell Jr.; grandchildren, William Russell, Andrea and Nicholas Millas; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley Russell, Kayla Millas; his sister and brother-in-law, Marion and William Brundage; sister-in-law, Mae Russell; and several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree from the General Electric Company, working in both Schenectady and Johnson City, and a member of the Boulevard United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City, with his pastor, Rev. Anthony Hipes, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boulevard United Methodist Church, 113 Grand Boulevard, Binghamton, N.Y. 13905 or to your favorite charity.
