Lorenzo Lucas Obituary
Barrington, RI: Lorenzo J.I. Lucas, 52, of Barrington, RI and formerly of Binghamton passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. He was the husband of Elaina (Giusti) Lucas. Born in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada, he was the son of the late Grietje (Drenth) Lucas and the late Antonie G. Lucas. Lorenzo was an architect, a member of Barrington Yacht Club, U.S. Sailing Association J 24 Series, and The American Institute of Architects. He was the father of Julian and Olivia Lucas; brother of Anton, Jelmir, Sasja and Pieta.
A funeral for Lorenzo was held on June 23, 2012. Visit smithmason.com for online condolences. Many wonderful friends have asked how they can be helpful to support Lorenzo's dreams for his children. The Olivia & Julian Lucas Trust has been established. I went to high school & played lacrosse with Lorenzo. I will always remember his sense of humor and being a great teammate. My prayers go out to Lorenzo & his family.
