To the Metlenko family and friends of Alex - I am a retired employee of the City of Novato. Although I worked in a different department, Alex and I became friends and associates working as employee representatives for Unit D. We shared many of the same goals and ideas for the benefit of our fellow employees, as well as a friendship. I am deeply sadden by Alex's passing, and offer my heartfelt condolences to his wife and children, family and friends. I will remember Alex for his dedication to the City, hard work, and his great smile.
