Jean Harriet Fye

Jean Fye Obituary

FYE, Jean Harriet Peacefully walked into the arms of the Lord, November 26, 2004, at home, surrounded by her family. Born April 4, 1919 in Los Angeles, CA. She married her husband Clarence at the age of 18, and moved to Camp Meeker with him in 1946. They later settled in Sebastopol where she lived for 57 years, raising a family and helping run their plumbing business. Being the world's best grandmother kept her busy, but she also found time for the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, her sewing club of 50 years and playing the organ at Sebastopol Congregational (Community) Church for 20 years. She loved entertaining friends and was happiest when surrounded by family. We will remember her smile, grace, dignity, kind words (and apple pie!). Jean is survived by Clarence, her husband of 66 years; sister Pat Baldwin (Ernie); children, Lynda Pribyl, Richard Fye; grandchildren, Troy Pribyl (Jeney), Sherry Pribyl and Athena Fye; 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. A Memorial Service will be held December 11, 2004; please contact family for information. She was truly loved and will be missed forever. Our family would like to thank everyone at Memorial Hospice for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's name to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
