Werner Epstein Obituary

Werner Epstein, passed away at his home with loving family members peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Berlin, Germany and was a survivor of the Holocaust. He was a successful chef in Paris and came to America in 1963. He settled in the Bay Area and continued to work as a chef in many well-known French restaurants. His beloved wife, Gertrude Epstein passed away in 1991. Werner is survived by his two daughters Gabrielle White and Sophia Baldry, their husbands and six grandchildren. His memorial service will be held September 3rd at 12:00 at the Congregation Beth Ami in Santa Rosa. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to Heartland Hospice Services or the Alzheimer's Association.
