LEHMAN,Godfrey Davidsburg Godfrey Davidsburg Lehman passed away on December 28, 2010 at his home in Petaluma, Ca at the age of 94. He also has been a lecturer, has appeared on television and radio, and was a charter member of the Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA). He loved Big Band music and Gilbert and Sullivan operas. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Ellis of Gold Beach, Oregon, and Madeleine Bucci of Petaluma, Ca. He is also survived by sons in law, Tom Bucci and Bruce Ellis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Melinda Ortner, Jonathan Bucci, Anthony Bucci, Amanda Ellis, Rachael Ellis, Natalie Ellis and Nicholas Ellis. Other than writing his books, his greatest loves were his children and his grandchildren. He was adored by them as well. I met Godfrey years ago when I was a single parent and struggling. I will never forget his all out energy and courage to be his own person. Plus he looked like Albert Einstein. Sorry for your loss Madeline and Melinda.

I feel very lucky to have been a neighbor and Godfreys barber the last five years. He always had a quick funny wit. He had composure and dignity till the end. And that was due to all the love and care his whole family gave him. I will miss seeing him.

I enjoyed Godfrey's personality a lot. He was so comfortable in his own skin that he might just blurt out anything that came to mind, whether he knew you well or not. I also enjoyed watching him work the room at parties, consistently attracting attention from women half his age with his spry energy. He also had a quick wit and dry sense of humor. Godfrey was a character and I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know him.

I remember Godfrey Lehman as a very nice gentleman and a person always curious about the world around him. I remember him as a doting father and grandfather which was very obvious everytime I would see him. He will be sorely missed...
