Dear Coletti Family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your son Alfred. My name is Gail I belong to a self help support group for parents,grandparents and adult siblings, who have loss a child at any age for any reason. We are called the Compassionate Friends and you can locate us at www.tcfprovidence.com. I loss my only son George at the age of 34 in an automobile accident and I have found hope and comfort through this journey of grief with these wonderful people. If you need us we are here to help you. May you find some comfort in the memories you shared with your son Alfred.

I am so saddened by this news and my prayers are with you and your family. Al And I were close friends in high school and even in our early College years. He was always happy and lovable and a great friend to me. I live in Chicago now and was unable to tell you this in person. As we all know you cannot choose your family but you can choose your friends. I am proud to say that Alfred was not only my family but he was my friend. We had many a laughs at our sister's expense and what a great laugh he had. The times we spent together were always filled with love and laughter I will carry those memories with me always.

My condolences to the Coletti family. I remember Al as a swimming pool installer for weatherking pools. I was the electrician who did the wiring of the pool installed at your home. Al will be missed by all, he always a funny way of doing things, always a smile , and always a joy to work with . I'm going to miss him.

Anyone who knew Al was an extremely lucky person. He really had a knack for making friends so easily and was able to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. He had an infectious laugh, great smile, and a big, big heart. He loved his family greatly, loved to have fun, and loved the simple things in life. He will be missed by many, especially by those whose lives have been touched by his warmth and kindness.
