Dear Carolyn and Elizabeth and family, I am saddened to read of the loss of your dad. Although I'm sure you don't know me, your dad was a bright light in my life ! He was a friend of my mother,Eileen Petit who passed Sept 1 2006.
Your dad was very generous to my family. Sincerely , my brothers and sisters and I ALWAYS looked forward to seeing him !
Growing up on welfare with a single parent household and 6 kids wasn't like the Brady Bunch . We really had nothing . Your father helped to ease the burden .In fact, he loaned me one of his suits to wear for my confirmation !(I grew to be 6' 200 lbs. I'm 61 now) I can clearly recall him coming by the house with groceries and treats for the kids on many many occasions. (my heart and head are filling up now thinking of him). A Very witty, caring, man. Feel free to contact me for "The Rest of The Story " if you want to hear more. I won't take up your time here.. All of us Loved "Little Doc" as he was affectionately known to us . God Bless him and your family. Tim Petit
