Steven Patriarca Obituary
69, of Ft. Myers, FL, and Johnston, RI, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center, in Ft. Myers. Born Jan. 25, 1952, in Providence, he was a son of the late Anthony and Nancy (Carnevale) Patriarca.
Steven attended Our Lady of Loretto School, Lasalle Academy and graduated from URI. He belonged to Theta Delta Chi. After college he joined the apprenticeship program and became a Boilermaker for Local 29 of Boston for 35 years. He retired as a Field Superintendent for Thomas O'Connor Company, Canton MA. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He leaves his siblings, Rocco (Francine), Patriarca of Riverside, Marie Rusch of Palm Springs, FL, Anthony (Mary) Patriarca of Tiverton, Susan Skiles of Stuart,FL, and Edward Patriarca, of Cranston. He also leaves nephews and nieces, Rocco Patriarca Jr, Toni Rose and Bridget Skiles, Gina Marie Rusch, Michael (Cassie) and Lauren Patriarca. He was a long time father figure to Steven Bernard and Nicole Meyer. He grew up in East Providence, summered in Johnston, RI, and wintered in Ft Myers FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Feb. 13, at 10am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial will be private. Visitation will take place in church prior to mass Saturday morning, from 9am until 10am.
Social distancing and wearing of face masks will be required.
Please omit flowers. A contribution to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
