One of my favourite photos of my grandfather (Papa) is of he and my grandmother (Nana) wearing matching pink polo shirts and blue jeans. I like this photo for various reasons, but one in particular is because it illustrates how conjoined they were as a couple; they belonged together.
After Nana died, whenever I spoke with Papa on the phone, he never failed to tell me how much he missed her and how fundamental her loss was to him.
I choose to believe my Grandfather died of a broken heart.
It brings me happiness to think they are now back together. God bless you Papa. Enjoy your peace, and tell Nana we said hello.
Love,
Your grandson, Steve

Pa Pa, you will be greatly missed. I know you are at peace being back by the side of Na Na. I picture you both in matching rockers looking down on us. We love you.
