He was the husband of Ronda E. (Miller) Wounderly; they celebrated 20 years of
marriage on October 10th.
Born in West Reading he was the son of the late Harold E. Wounderly and Patricia L. (Beaver) Wounderly. Stuart was a 1984 graduate of Muhlenberg High School, where he was an avid bowler. In 1990, he graduated from Albright College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
He started his nursing career as an emergency room nurse with Community Hospital in Lancaster and later as a
nursing supervisor. In 1995, he joined Reading Hospital as a nursing supervisor and continued his career as a
operating room nurse to the present.
Stu's time off was spent camping and fishing with his family. He also was an avid car enthusiast.
Stuart is survived by his wife Ronda; sons, Christopher J. Wounderly and Joshua T. Wounderly. He also is survived by his twin brother, Harold E. Wounderly Jr., of Oley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was best friend to his dogs Riley and Sophie.
A visitation will be on Saturday, February 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Inurnment will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Reading.
As Stu would have wanted, if you plan to come to the service, feel free to dress very casual,wear your favorite Penn State or Eagles gear, wear your favorite camping or fishing shirt, or anything that reminds you of him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Stuart to either Gift of Life, 401 North 3rd Street,

Rhonda and boys, so very sorry that Stu had to leave you so suddenly and so early. One of those things that is just so hard to understand. I always enjoyed working with him.
