Donald Cameron Obituary

Middletown, NY

Donald A. Cameron of Middletown, NY, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus in Middletown, NY. He was 90.

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, on July 8, 1917, he was the son of Hugh A. and Caroline Matthews Cameron.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. Donald was also a talented musician and a member of the American Federated Musician's Union 109, New York, NY. He attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church, helping in numerous capacities. He retired as a purchasing director at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ.

Don is survived by his wife, Louise Sebastian Cameron, at home; two sons, Douglas Cameron of Missouri and Scott Cameron of Georgia, and his daughter, Diane Siebert of South Carolina.

Friends may call today, Thursday, March 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Morse Funeral Home Inc., 33 Railroad Ave., Middletown, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Middletown, NY. Following cremation, burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Middletown.

The family requests donations be made in Don's memory to the charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are under the guidance of Morse Funeral Home, Inc., 845-343-6918.
