Mama. It’s been 6 years now. I miss you so much. There are times I pick up my phone to call you to share something that’s going on, then remember I can’t do that. So I look to the heavens and share. I love you and miss you every day.
I know you are safe in the arms of Jesus. Love you forever

Pearl & I were friends for many years. I will truly miss her warm hugs & smiling eyes. She was so kind & welcoming to so many. I considered it a great privilege that she called me last week and ask me to come and say Good-by. We had a loving visit & a prayer. May God bless her & keep her till we meet again and may her family take comfort through their loving memories of a precious lady.

Pearl and Joe welcomed so many into their home, including me and my brother Lee, two teenage Vallejo kids with few relatives. I continued to trek up to Anderson any chance I got, bringing along a new generation of kids to play at Pearl's house, her generosity never failing to welcome us. I will be eternally grateful for her welcoming hugs, and smiles. I'm going to miss her and the homefires that she kept alive. Love and gratitude to her and the family. Words are not enough. Go with God ~ Pam

Pearl,a woman of God went home to be with our Father in Heaven. What a Glorious day for her, and how happy her loved ones who went before her are to see her. She leaves behind us who are happy for where she is, but sad at the void she will leave behind.
Today, we share tears, joy and memories, of a woman who not only had her birth children and grandchildren, but had so many other children and I am one of those children. She found me years ago when my friend had her look for me out in Happy Valley while on her Avon route, and I have been a part of the family ever since, she would tell people I was her other daughter, my children learned to call her Mamo and they would tell people she was their grandma. As with any family there are the squabbles, but she loved her family dearly and deeply, and those soon faded away and all forgotten.
So, today as I reflect on my other mother, my friend, her spunk, her laughter, her joy in her kids, grandkids, great and great great grandkids, I will remember her fondly and with love. I also know her love for the Lord and I know she wanted her family to have that love as well.
My Friend, my sister by choice, my nieces and nephews, our families have mixed together through the years and will always cherish that forever. My heart grieves with yours.
I love you all... she will surely be missed
