Lisa Caccavale Obituary

Lisa Parker Caccavale
4/5/1958 - 12/28/2020
Lisa Parker Caccavale passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2020 and is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was born April 5, 1958 in Eugene, Oregon to Wilder Webster Parker and Vivian Beemer Parker. She married Jack Caccavale November 19, 2003 in Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
Lisa grew up in The Whiteaker Neighborhood in Eugene and attended Whitaker Grade School, Monroe Jr High, and Sheldon High School.
Lisa had a love for all animals. That love began with her childhood dog "Beau" a German Shepherd who was always at her side. In the Summertime you could find Lisa sharing her ice cream cone with "Beau".
Lisa's passion for Horses began at the age of 12 when she was given a White Mare named Lady. Lady was pastured in the neighborhood and she and her childhood friend Stacey would ride their Horses down River Road and swim the Horses across The Willamette River when Valley River was still under Construction.
Lisa would have many Horses during her lifetime, but her favorite was a Sorrel Mare named Jasmine. Lisa loved taking "Jazzie" to Baker Beach to run in the surf and ride many trails across the The State. She taught her Nieces Morgan and Shannon horsemanship and the love of riding.
Lisa worked at States Industries for 30 years and was a valued and Loved member of The States Family.
Lisa was a true Oregonian. She loved the natural beauty of her State and enjoyed exploring the Coast and Rivers with her Husband. She was especially proud of her Families legacy in Astoria History. Her ashes will be spread across her favorite places in Oregon and her Favorite trails in Jedediah Smith Redwood Park.
Lisa's loss has been devastating to Family, friends, and co-workers. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to find the goodness in everyone she encountered.
Lisa is survived by her Husband Jack Caccavale, Sister Pam Parker Kanoff, Pam's Husband Steve Kanoff, Nieces Morgan and Shannon Kanoff, father-in law and mother-in-law John and Marie Caccavale, and sister-in-law Elle Caccavale.
