We will always remember Steve and how he was, a kind, creative, generous and gentle soul. Everyone who knew him has something good to say about him. He was an important member of the friend group known as "The Gang". When I was little I really liked to draw, and more than a few times Steve would sit with me and watch me draw, giving me tips and pointers. I will always appreciate the moments we shared. We love you McFleury.

SO SORRY...I meant to say that I was blessed with the "gift of" one of earliest paintings (from NAIT - when he was studying art).
Miss you, buddy.

Steve lived next door to me for several years in Edmonton, AB. He, April O'Brien-Perrino (another beloved friend and neighbor) and I always had a great time - it seems that beer and/or wine were often involved - lol; one fond memory was loading everyone in the VW and going to watch the DRIVE-IN movies (sadly, these have gone by the wayside). Steve cycled almost everywhere he went and loved it!
Steve was a wonderful friend and neighbor and I was blessed with the give one of his earliest paintings - a still life. It still graces my dining room.
I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing; the world has lost a great guy with a fun, giving ,spirit.
My sincere condolences,
Sheila Sullivan

My deepest condolences to all family & friends that Steve has left behind.
I have very fond memories of Steve and feel very blessed to have been given the opportunity to of worked & socialized with him in Edmonton, Alberta for quite a few years.
Steve's artisitic talents where truly second to none as I am sure all that knew him where very taken by his gift.
My best memory of Steve was playing frisbe every Friday afternoon in the warehouse after I had returned from deliveries.
We actually managed to wear out a couple of those frisbe's but Steve always had a spare in his desk !!
I shall surly never forget about my freind & colleague Steve.
