Paul Dwain Friske, a local artist & musician passed away Friday, November 2nd in San Antonio, Texas. Paul was born in Austin, Texas on January 13, 1951 to Jimmy and Rosie Friske. He is survived by his wife Tommie, his daughter Toni and her husband Gary, his son Michael and his wife Gina and his daughter Jessica and her husband Aaron. He has 10 grandchildren, Laura, Hailey, Garyn, Jordan, Tatum, Julian, Emma, Sam, Maisy and Abraham, and four great-grandchildren, Lily, Cash, Ainsley and Beau.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Round Rock Cemetery on Sam Bass Rd. in Round Rock, Texas.
Paul loved his family, his music, his art, and most of all his Savior Jesus Christ.
This is reflected in his Artist statement:
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
"You can stand on a mountain and look out, or watch a field of flowers in the afternoon sun and you know it's true. I would like my work to express this in some small way."

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Though it has been many years since I've seen him and Tommy, he was a truly special person with so much love for his family, his Lord, and his art and music. He will be truly missed. Prayers for comfort and joy of his sweet memory.
