Clark C. Tinsley

Clark C. Tinsley passed away on Thursday December 14th, 2015 at the age of 91 . Born in Richmond, VA on November 4th 1924, he attended St. Christopher's School in Richmond, VA At 18, Clark volunteered to join the Army.

He trained in Ft. Bragg, SC as a paratrooper and fought in WWII with the 82nd Airborn. In 1954, Clark moved to Reno and became an agent for State Farm Insurance. He operated the agency until he retired in 1994. Clark enjoyed helping his clients and felt rewarded with his career selection.

Clark is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth, his daughters Mary Rodgers and Elizabeth Arnold, his son Clark Jr, step-daughter Maria Brokhouser, step-son Mark Morrison and 10 grandchildren. He was a loving and supportive husband and father. We miss him.

Ruth, Sorry to hear of Clark's passing. I have fond memories of us fishing at Cresant City, CA & with State Farm. My deepest sympathy.

Ruth - I lived upstairs from Clark and Jay Reid while I was going to college in early '70's. They were both wonderful men whom I often remember for their kindness and humor.
